In 1879, Eliseo Rodriguez Leon was born and grew up in the heart of Cuba’s Tobacco region, Vuelta Abajo, Pinar del Rio. When as an adult, he owned a ‘vega de tabaco’(tobacco farm) and a cigar factory.

Don Eliseo (as he was known in the community), distributed his brand of cigars locally. His work ethic and focus on quality were evident in every cigar he made, and soon his reputation began to spread throughout the province

This caught the attention of some of Cuba’s national brands such as H. Upmann and La Corona. They subcontracted with him fully confident that he would deliver the quality and expertise their cigars demanded.

When the Cuban Revolution of 1959 swept the country, his land, factory, production, and brand were all confiscated and became government property. Refusing to align with the communist regime, he was forced into retirement.

Today, Don Eliseo's third generation creates premium cigars with the same passion and tradition that he would be proud to put his name to. Don Eliseo's philosophy of quality, excellence, and hard work continues, honoring the vequeros (tobacco farmers) and torcedores (cigar rollers) who dedicate their labor to this timeless craft.

Our motto, “Where craft meets legacy”, reflects that each cigar is thoughtfully blended from carefully selected tobaccos (Cuban-seed tobacco grown in Nicaragua), honoring Cuban-inspired heritage and the craftsmanship that defines the world of finely made cigars.

Our cigars are blended by master blender Eradio Pichardo whose experience in Partagás, Havana, infuses each blend with time honored traditions. We have partnered with Tabacalera Pichardo in Estelí, Nicaragua, to craft refined cigars that embody passion and expertise.

Our partnership allows us to maintain quality control from farm to cigar. This enables us to create a genuine, premium cigar. Don Eliseo does not compromise on quality; therefore, you don't have to compromise on taste.
